Andrew Damchev is, first and foremost, a family person. And dogs have been an integral part of his family since he was six years old. Andrew’s first dog as a boy was an energetic troublemaking Jack Russell terrier, which taught him a lot about dogs.
Since his first dog, Andrew has trained or helped train, handled, or owned a collective of over 600 different dogs.
That’s right. More than 600 dogs. Having this broad experience means that Andrew has dealt with arguably every type of dog problem there is. There’s nothing you’re dealing with that he hasn’t handled before, and handled successfully, from ultra-aggressive, dominant dogs to those so timid they’re afraid of their own shadows. He has fearlessly intervened and ended dog fights during training, despite the risk of injury to himself.
His natural flair for dog training, combined with
“A Passion To Understand Dogs”
has lead to an ongoing, daily study of all aspects of dog behaviour, be it at home with his own half a dozen dogs or in the training environment professionally.
As you could imagine…all this time spent with dogs has allowed Andrew to build up an understanding of dogs that most people only dream of and is way beyond that of the average dog trainer.
